nvo.is
An invoicing tool you can talk to: say what you did, check it, send it.

Invoicing that waits for me to sit down and do it doesn’t get done. So I made it something you say.
You press the mic and describe the work. nvo.is fills in the invoice, works out the totals and asks whether to send it. It’s for freelancers and small studios, where the work is the job and the paperwork is the chore.

What it does
Invoices go out by email, can be paid online and saved as PDF. Proposals are accepted with a click. Subscriptions are set once and bill on schedule. Sales pages take payment, and each client keeps a profile with their history and what they owe. It’s free to start, with no card, and Pro is $11.99 a month.

Then I handed it to an assistant.
MCP is a standard way to plug an AI assistant into an app. I built one for nvo.is, so you can ask your assistant “what’s still unpaid?”, “bill Acme for 12 hours” or “mark 0042 paid”, and it happens without opening the app. It’s published, so anyone with an account can install it.
You decide what it can do
You make a key in Settings and tick what an assistant using it may do. A key can be read-only, so it can answer questions but change nothing. Emailing your clients is never ticked for you, because a sent invoice can’t be taken back. That has to be something you chose, not something you forgot to untick.
Every call an assistant makes is logged.

The assistant never does the maths. nvo.is works out every total itself.
